1st posting to my simple life blog!

So, i guess it was time for a blog..seems like everyone has them and well, sometimes I have some good things to say! So-shall we begin? Well, it's Saturday- let me change that, it is a RAINY Saturday, which just makes me want to be lazy. My sweet husband however has bought me something to get me moving! The Gazelle Edge!!!! Ok, I have to say right now- this thing is really fun! Not like a work out work out at all! It is something I can totally see myself doing in the mornings or at night! Thanks honey! Right now, this gazelle is parked in the office. Not the ideal place but until we make room elsewhere, this is where is has landed and where it will stay for who knows how long. The ultimate plan is to clean out our junk room- which we refer to as the "pink room" because it was Emmy's nursery and it is pink- she is now in a big girl room-painted yellow- but we don't seem to call it the yellow room-not sure why since we have the Pink Room-but anyway... :) So hopefully, then once we get that room cleaned out, we can put our excersize equipment in there- the gazelle, the stationary bike and the weight bench- and that can be out workout room where we can work out together. Then, I will have room in the office to add a craft table and storage and some wall shelving units to make my little scrapbook area. It would help me so much because right now, I never drag my scrapbook stuff out because I have to work on the kitchen table and then clean it all up and it just really makes me not look forward to doing it. But if I have my own space designated for scrapbooking with all my supplies readily available, then I won't mind doing it so much. I love to scrapbook, I just don't get motivated to do it anymore. :( It will also give me a space to make my Scrabble pendants and keep all my supplies there too so that I can make more of them. I have some orders right now I need to fill, so this weekend I will be doing that also---I think I have 4 to make, I can't remember..they are a good little side business. It gives me a little extra money just for me and that is nice. :) Well, now that I have blogged and my husband has made fun of me for doing it and allowing strangers into my life- I must go...but then again, what strangers are interested in my life, it's just so....simple.
